DIY: If you can never find shorts long enough try this! Step 1: find a pair of clearance jeans that fit you well. Step 2: Take a marker and put a line where you want your shorts (remember you will have to fold them to stop fraying) Step 3 cut ONE leg where you have marked. Step 4 take the cut off pant leg and line it up on the other side, then cut! Step 5 fold and add fabric glue to the inside of the fold to hold in place!

STATE IT ON CANVAS
Glue letters, other designs on regular canvas for a 3-d effect. Find materials at Michael’s or other art store.
Paint over the entire canvas and let it dry.
That’s it!

DIY Giant Cross Stitch. Tutorial by Readymade here.  A fast and inexpensive project. You don’t have to labor for hours or years (as someone I know did for cushions) doing cross stitch - don’t get me wrong - I love cross stitch! This is basically what you do according to Readymade:

Enlarge your favorite cross-stitch pattern by drawing a grid on canvas, stretching the fabric over a frame, and cross-stitching with yarn and an upholstery needle.

The questions I ask myself. Big Bang for your buck? check. Inexpensive? Yes, for the outcome. Can you make it your own? Definitely. Is it doable? Absolutely.

love it!

DIY Chan Luu Bracelet. Many sites have imitated Chan Luu’s bracelet, but when I saw Momma Hear Me Roar’s version here  (top)I thought it was really pretty and unique the way it was wrapped 4x around. She referred me onto a great tutorial at Craftay! here.

DIY Baseball String Bracelet
Love this, you could even make a Chevron pattern friendship bracelet with a white border to mimic this design if you don’t have a baseball handy.
